On June 20, 2024, Dongjian Digital Energy Technology signed a strategic partnership agreement with Brazil’s XAMANO Group at its Shanghai headquarters, marking a significant step in their collaboration in the renewable energy sector. Together, the two companies will establish a joint venture in Brazil, focusing on developing renewable energy projects, including charging stations, hydrogen stations, electric trucks, photovoltaic power stations, energy storage systems, and mining operations. This partnership will encompass the full spectrum of the renewable energy value chain, from technology development and product manufacturing to market sales and service delivery.
The demand for photovoltaic systems in Brazil has been booming, with over 4GW of new installations added in Q1 2024, bringing the total installed solar capacity to 41GW. The Brazilian Energy Agency has highlighted the need for new energy storage systems to improve grid stability and reliability. Although Brazil is working to expand its domestic photovoltaic manufacturing capabilities, the industry still heavily relies on imports, particularly from China, to meet its needs. Experts believe that China will continue to play a key role in Brazil's energy transition.
XAMANO Group, a leader in green technology, comprises XAMANO Energy, XAMANO Minas, and XAMANO Solar, with offices in Brasília and São Paulo. During the signing ceremony, executives from both companies, including XAMANO Group President Wei Wang, CEO Rong Wu, Dongjian’s Vice President Richard Yao, Director of the Chairman’s Office Alisa Gou, Dongjian Solar & Energy’s Vice President Wei Xue celebrated the start of a deep collaboration that aims to drive the development of renewable energy markets in Brazil and beyond. The partnership between Dongjian and XAMANO is not only a commercial success but also a critical step in supporting global energy transition efforts.
As the two companies move forward, they aim to create more innovative green energy solutions and contribute to a cleaner, sustainable future for the world.
